Kaufman is a consummate professional with over 14 years of SBA (Small
Business Administration)/Commercial Banking experience. During his
time he has met with over 1,500 businesses and has assisted many
of them in acquiring funds to purchase commercial/industrial real
estate or support other business needs. His flexibility and listening
skills have helped him provide creative financial solutions to many
growing businesses. Most applicants can be prequalified and receive
a conditional letter of approval within 24 hours.
Prior to opening has own business, Kaufman Financial, Russ was employed by traditional “Bank” and “Non-Bank” lenders. For the first four years of his 14 years of work experience, Russ held the position as an underwriter for Mission Viejo National Bank and Mid City Bank. For the last 10 years, he served as a Business Development Officer with The Money Store, and as an Assistant Vice President at Landmark Bank, and most recently Vice President at Business Bank of California. Russ earned his B.A. degree in 1989 from Sonoma State University. Russ opened Kaufman Financial to assist small business owners in not only obtaining Commercial financing, but also to provide the best loan package for his clients. Most Banks and Financial Institutions are ready to lend you money, but each one has their own unique underwriting standards. Each bank views distinct industries within the business community differently. Some lenders will immediately say yes while others will give you more paperwork to take home.
